Our Team
Dr. George Awad
Veterinarian
Dr. George is a compassionate and highly experienced veterinarian with over 20 years in the field of animal health. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1995 from the University of Alexandria in Egypt and has since built a diverse career spanning small and large animal practice, as well as pharmaceutical research.
In 2013, Dr. George completed the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination, earning membership in both the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association. He went on to spend three years at a busy mixed and small animal hospital in northern Ontario, where he gained extensive experience in emergency medicine and on-call care.
Since relocating to London, Ontario in 2018, Dr. George has worked in several veterinary hospitals across the city and surrounding areas, helping furry family members in need live healthier and happier lives. His professional interests include internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, and emergency care.
Dr. George finds great fulfillment in playing a vital role in keeping four-legged family members healthy and thriving. He is a strong advocate for preventive care and proper nutrition as essential tools for maintaining long-term wellness and happiness in his patients. Known for his dedication and kindness, he consistently goes above and beyond to support the well-being of his patients and the satisfaction of their families.
Outside of work, Dr. George enjoys spending time with his wife Iriny, their children Maria and Mark, and the family’s beloved golden retriever, Alpha.
